Graphics

While Clients often provide some of the graphics, images or other visual elements for Skins and/or the Default Page of a Website, it is the purpose of this section to describe what will be furnished by whom.  There are thousands, if not millions, of graphic images and/or Website backgrounds available to Attaboy Designs without additional cost.  On the other hand, Attaboy Designs can either create or acquire at additional cost just about any graphic or image one can imagine.   Generally, graphics, images, backgrounds, and other visual elements for Skins can be provided at no additional cost, but if the Client requires something totally out of the ordinary or the requirement adds additional costs, then the Client agrees to pay the additional hourly rated detailed in the Additional Services Rate Schedule below unless otherwise specifically stated and agreed upon in writing.

Scope and Deliverables

  1. Design and Develop a Standard Edition             page WEB SITE utilizing the DotNetNuke Portal Framework as fully described in the following two Bulletins: DotNetNuke (DNN) Features; Attaboy Designs Standard Edition Portal Website.
  2. Add Skins and Containers designed to Client’s specifications as previously agreed separately in writing.
  3. Add representative amount of content in the presence of Client so that he/she understands how it is done.
  4. Deploy WEB SITE as a fully functioning Website on Attaboy Designs’ production Server.
  5. Begin the Hosting phase for Client.
  6. Complete User Training.
  7. Provide a DNN Administrators Training manual.
  8. Provide a DNN Quick Tour Tutorial on Disk.

 

Deliverables Milestone Schedule

All ‘day’ measurements are based on the previous milestone completion. The time frame for Milestone 1 will start 3 days after the date of the first deposit.

 

Milestone 1: Determination of Initial requirements (Maximum 10 days)

            Initial requirements can include color schemes, font, font sizes, layout, number of initial pages – all site planning should be handled here.

Milestone 2: Alpha skin mockup (Maximum 5 days)

            Based on requirements and other input by Client.

Milestone 3: Alpha portal structure setup (Maximum 5 days)

            Structure of menus and flow of pages will be set into the portal. The different pages will be created and any initial security roles decided upon and created. Modules will be placed and populated as possible.

Milestone 4: User Training – Manuals / Walkthroughs / Email, Messenger, and Phone discussions (Maximum 5 days)

            Designated users will be provided with a manual detailing editing and maintenance features of the site.  Designated administrators will be provided additional information on user and site management.  Short walkthrough tutorials covering common tasks will be provided.  Questions about DotNetNuke functionality will be answered as needed by phone, email, or instant messenger.

Milestone 5: Beta skin deployment (Maximum 3 days)

            Agreed upon changes to the Alpha skin will be applied to the example site for approval – small revisions will be allowed.

Milestone 6: Beta portal structure revision (Maximum 3 days)

            Agreed upon changes to the Alpha structure will be applied to the example site for approval – small revisions will be allowed.

Milestone 7: Site Testing (Maximum 3 days)

            The Client and Attaboy Designs will independently verify each page and module is operating as expected. Verified bugs will be fixed. No revisions will be allowed during or after this milestone.

Milestone 8: Site deployment (Maximum 2 days)

            The completed WEB SITE will be moved to its hosting location and the domain name will be changed to point to the site.

Milestone 9: Bug hunting (Maximum 1 month)

            Any last minute bugs will be fixed as they appear.

 

Remuneration for Services

The Client has engaged the Services of Attaboy Designs in designing, programming, developing and deploying a WEB SITE as specified under Scope and Deliverables.  The Client agrees to pay the sum of $ ________ to Attaboy Designs for the WEB SITE.  The Client will pay $200.00 up front to finalize this agreement.  Another payment of $200.00 will be made at the end of Milestone 4 as detailed in Deliverables Milestone Schedule above.  The final sum of $________ shall be paid upon the completion of Milestone 8.  Attaboy Designs will have the Client ‘sign off’ on each deliverable schedule item in the Deliverables Milestone Schedule before moving to the next item unless otherwise specifically stated and agreed upon in writing.

 

Upon the completion of building the WEB SITE, the WEB SITE will be moved to a Production Server.  At this point, monthly fees for Hosting and limited Webmaster services will begin.  These fees may be paid annually, semi-annually, quarterly, or monthly according to the following schedule:

Save Additional: Receive one extra month free if you are directly responsible for your friend or business acquaintance purchasing a Package Deal from Attaboy Designs.  Be directly responsible for two Package Deals and receive two months free, etc.

 

Additional Services Rate Schedule

Additional services not detailed in Scope and Deliverables above or the Agreement shall be charged at an hourly rate of $35.00.  Advance notice and agreement in writing shall be secured from the Client before embarking on additional work or securing additional Products.
